To help users realize the benefits of Honda Insight in car technology, a new technology called the Ecological Drive Assist System (Eco Assist), is included in the standard for all models.

Eco Assist combines multiple functions:

• Econ Mode, with the touch of a button, can adjust the function of the engine power is removed, extending the duration of the current position of the vehicle is stationary, increasing recharge at lower speeds and get the energy savings on Air conditioner unit. As a result, fuel efficiency can be achieved.

• Scoring Function, located in the center instrument panel. Multi-information display provides information on the numbers (scoring function), where the numbers appear to indicate the stage of fuel efficiency on the terms of driver performance. When the car is turned off, the rate of use of the car when first turned on until turned off will be listed. Figures also show the cumulative performance so far has been on the cross. With the Honda HDD Internalize system, drivers can access directly the results for this car use and the addition of a complete assessment of the statistics. Internalize Consumers can access directly through the internet about the fuel efficiency based on how they are driving, the overall rate of use of fuel efficiency, ranking among the other driver in all of Japan and other information related to fuel efficiency. Scoring function to support the drivers to be more interested to know more about fuel efficiency and use of technologies used to the car like this in the long run.
